Try springboard diving in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Open to divers ages 6–13 — no experience needed. Five sessions available this summer at Las Positas College in Livermore, CA.

Each session is two weeks long, Mon–Thurs from 4–5:30pm. Space is limited to 12 athletes per session — enroll early to secure your spot!

What Your Child Will Experience

Our Summer Dive Camps give kids and teens their first real taste of competitive springboard diving in a supportive, coach-led environment. Here’s what every session includes:

Springboard Diving Basics

Learn fundamental dives on the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards, plus entries from the side of the pool.

Dryland Training

Use our dryboards, trampolines, and overhead spotting rigs to safely practice new skills before hitting the water.

End-of-Session Competition

Each session wraps up with a real competition where athletes perform the dives they’ve learned — a great confidence builder!

Who Can Participate

  • Ages 6–13 years old
  • All ability and skill levels welcome
  • Athletes must be able to swim unassisted in 14ft deep water
  • No prior diving experience required

Our Facility

Summer camps are held at the Las Positas College Aquatics Center in Livermore, CA. Our pool features three 1-meter and two 3-meter springboards, a 1-meter platform, and multiple poolside training stations. The facility is equipped with a bubble system and a video replay system to help athletes learn and improve their dives.

Our dryland area includes dryboards and trampolines with overhead spotting rigs for safely trying new skills, plus mats for stretching, conditioning, and other activities.

A Livermore native, Monte has been coaching diving since 1983 and is the cornerstone of diving in the Tri-Valley for over four decades.

Owner & Assistant Coach

Founder of Tri-Valley Divers, Logan has been coaching since 2007 and is the current USA Diving Region 10 Representative.

Laina Stifter

Assistant Coach

Laina brings energy and expertise to every session, helping young divers build confidence and master new skills in a supportive environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How old does my child have to be to participate?

Summer dive camps are limited to athletes ages 6 to 13.

My child is over 13 — can they still do a summer camp?

No, but we do offer a year-round High School Diving program for athletes ages 14 and over that they can join instead.

How much does it cost?

Each session is $250. You can sign up for as many sessions as you like. There is also a one-time $40 USA Diving membership required before your first session.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We offer a 25% sibling discount for all siblings who participate. Camp participants also receive 50% off their first month’s dues if they decide to join our year-round program.

My child does not know how to swim. Can they participate?

No. All participants must be able to swim unassisted in 14ft deep water before joining the camp.

What does my child need to bring?

A swimsuit, towel, and exercise/dryland clothes are all you need for each practice.
